Photo book Terms and Conditions
Theme: Journey! Entries should be inspired by the theme of ‘Journey.’ The response to the theme can be literal or interpretative and we encourage thinking outside the box.
Entries: One entry per person, one picture per entry. This year we are only including one picture per contributor so choose your favourite ‘Journey’ picture! The photographs can be ones you’ve taken in the past.
Additional Info: Along with your picture we require this additional information:
· Your name – the name you wish to be printed.
· A Title – you may wish to give your image a title, otherwise we will list it as 'Untitled.'
· About - a short description or explanation of your photograph (no more than 70 words).
· Additional Links - your social media links and website, should you have any you wish to share.
Submission: Entries needs to be submitted by Wednesday 30th of September 2026, via this submission form or at the submission email.

We can only accept digital entries via the form and email at this time.
Open to All: Open to photographers of all ages, skill levels and abilities, and with photographs taken on all types of cameras and camera phones.
Own Work: All images entered must be entirely the work of the photographer.
Composite/Ai Images: Composites are permitted provided all component images are the photographer's own. Photographs must be taken with a camera and not created with Ai programs. We discourage you from submitting Ai altered images, but using Ai tools in the editing process is acceptable within reason.
Selection Decision: Selection will be made by the Stirling Photography Festival Creative Team. They will have the final decision on entries. Images must be deemed suitable for exhibition in public places and any image considered inappropriate will be excluded.
· Multiple entries: will not be accepted and anything after the first submission will be excluded.

· Selection: will take place during October 2026.
Successful Entrants: will be included in our Journey 2026 commemorative book, to be published by the end of 2026.
Social Media: Feel free to share additional images on social media and tag us @stirlingpf on Instagram & Stirling Photography Festival on Facebook for a chance to be featured on our social media channels.
Image Permissions: By submitting entries to the Stirling Photography Festival you are giving permission for your images to be used by the Stirling Photography Festival for the purposes of the exhibition (print and online); to be displayed in our printed festival photo book which will be sold for fundraising; to be used in PR, advertising, and fundraising for the festival in the future. No payment can be provided to use these images. Credit to the photographer will always be given, regardless of where it’s displayed.
