Stirling 900 - a Celebration of the People and the Place

Let’s capture this special year!

A special commemorative photobook will mark Stirling's 900th year as a Royal Burgh. Stirling Photography Festival are delighted to be creating a special photography book in celebration of Stirlingshire, the people and the place. Generously sponsored by Stirling District Tourism, this curated collection of photographs submitted by the public will be a unique record of this exceptional year.

Throughout this 900th birthday year we encourage you to capture what you love about Stirlingshire, what moves and inspires you. We are looking for photographs that capture the best of our region's places, events, and people.

We aim to highlight all the fabulous events of this anniversary year by encouraging you to visit them and join in with your camera. If you have any photographs of the celebration activities from across Stirlingshire - sport, music, heritage, cultural and community please submit them for a chance to be included in this special commemorative book.

Submit your photos with our submission form or by emailing: stirlingphotographyfestival@gmail.com before Monday 7th April 2025. Submissions are now closed.

Follow us on social media to keep up to date with what is happening throughout #stirling900.

You can find out more about other events taking place throughout the year by visiting the official Stirling 900 events page here.
